AI Artists Wanted Immediate Start Remote and On-Site.
AI Artist, Designers, Creatives, and Directors - working with GEN AI tools.
BAI-LEY Studios | Regina, SK (Hybrid)
Company Description
BAI-LEY Studios operates world-class VFX-intensive soundstages in Regina, Canada, with the flexibility to deploy temporary or permanent stages globally. We specialize in high-end production environments that fuse advanced AI capabilities with traditional filmmaking craft, delivering feature films, premium television, streaming originals, and large-scale commercial campaigns.
Our stages provide controlled, weather-independent facilities equipped with real-time workflows and integrated production support. By combining AI-driven tools with practical on-set expertise, BAI-LEY eliminates the risks of remote locations, weather disruptions, and fragmented vendor pipelines—empowering productions to move seamlessly from concept to final delivery with cinematic quality and technical precision.
About the Role
This is a full-time hybrid position for an AI Artist, based primarily in Regina, Saskatchewan, with flexibility for remote work (including dedicated home-weather days).
You will serve as a creative lead who collaborates with intelligent multimodal AI Agents—advanced creative partners that orchestrate image, video, audio, and text generation across professional pipelines. Rather than simply prompting tools, you will direct these agents through high-level vision, guiding them from initial concept development through iterative refinement to broadcast-ready, photorealistic assets.
Your work will directly support VFX pipelines for major productions, ensuring visual consistency, cinematic lighting, character continuity, and emotional impact at scale. This role blends artistic excellence with technical fluency, positioning you as both visionary and workflow architect in a fast-evolving hybrid production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Direct agentic creative workflows: Collaborate with multimodal AI Agents in both strategic ideation (expanding briefs into visual directions, character concepts, shot lists, and mood explorations) and execution modes (generating, animating, transforming, and refining assets while maintaining shared project context across boards and sequences).
Produce cinematic, photorealistic assets: Create and refine high-end keyframes, video sequences, lighting studies, and visual effects elements that meet the exacting standards of feature film, television, and commercial delivery.
Optimize hybrid pipelines: Seamlessly integrate AI-generated outputs with traditional 3D tools (Maya, Blender) and real-time engines (Unreal Engine) to achieve efficient, production-grade results.
Ensure visual excellence and consistency: Apply deep expertise in photorealism, cinematic lighting, shading, color, and motion to maintain character, style, and narrative continuity across complex sequences and variations.
Drive efficiency and innovation: Leverage agent orchestration to accelerate iteration, generate multiple high-quality options rapidly, and optimize end-to-end creative pipelines without sacrificing artistic integrity.
Document and elevate team practice: Record workflows, develop best-practice playbooks, and share insights that help the broader production team harness AI Agents more effectively.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with directors, VFX supervisors, producers, and technical teams to translate creative intent into technically flawless deliverables.
Ideal Qualifications
Demonstrated professional experience using advanced generative AI platforms and agentic systems to produce high-end video, VFX, or cinematic content for film, television, or advertising.
Exceptional eye for photorealism, lighting design, shading, composition, and cinematic storytelling, with a portfolio that demonstrates broadcast-level quality.
Strong understanding of AI agent collaboration—directing high-level creative intent while the system handles model orchestration, modality switching, consistency enforcement, and large-scale variation.
Solid technical foundation in 3D modeling, texturing, rendering, and pipeline integration (Maya, Blender, or equivalent); proficiency in Unreal Engine is a significant advantage.
Proven ability to optimize creative workflows for speed and quality in fast-paced production environments.
Adaptable, solutions-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for exploring how intelligent agents can expand what’s creatively and technically possible.
Clear, confident communicator who can articulate artistic vision to both human collaborators and AI systems.
Here’s the important part: The most advanced agentic AI platforms are very new. We don’t expect you to already be an expert in these specific tools. What matters most to us is your artistic eye, your production experience, and your genuine enthusiasm for learning.
We provide intensive, hands-on onboarding and ongoing training so you can quickly bring your existing skills up to speed and become highly effective on our hybrid AI + traditional VFX pipeline. You’ll grow alongside the technology, not be left behind by it.
Strong candidates will typically bring:
Solid experience in traditional VFX, 3D modeling, texturing, rendering, or cinematic production pipelines (this is the core skill set we build upon).
A keen eye for photorealism, cinematic lighting, color, composition, and visual storytelling.
Curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine excitement about learning new technologies.
Comfort working collaboratively in fast-paced production environments.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
Nice to have (but definitely not required):
Any prior hands-on experience with generative AI tools or platforms — we’ll train you thoroughly on our specific systems and workflows.
What we promise you:
Comprehensive onboarding, dedicated training time, and ongoing support from our experienced team so you can confidently direct AI Agents and deliver outstanding work on real productions.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $51,000 – $72,000 CAD annually (commensurate with experience)
Hybrid schedule with primary onsite presence in Regina and flexible remote options, including dedicated home-weather days
Opportunity to work on high-profile productions within a cutting-edge, AI-forward studio environment
Collaborative team culture focused on innovation, craft, and professional growth
