AI TASK MANAGER JOB REGINA CANADA — BAI-LEY
BAI-LEY Studios
BAI-LEY Studios | Regina, SK (On-Site / Hybrid)
About the Role This is a full-time position for an AI Task Manager, based primarily on-site at our Regina studio (with hybrid flexibility for certain tasks and dedicated home-weather days where applicable).
You will serve as the human supervisor and quality director for intelligent multimodal AI Agents that power our production pipelines. This is not an AI artist or prompt-engineer role. Instead, you are the sharp-eyed operator who ensures agents receive crystal-clear instructions, reviews their outputs with precision, iterates on workflows, and maintains broadcast-ready standards across major film, television, and commercial projects.
This is a brand-new role in the industry. We’re looking for detail-oriented, reliable humans who excel at clear communication, spotting inconsistencies, and solving problems — skills that transfer from any professional background. No prior AI or creative experience is required. We provide intensive, hands-on onboarding and ongoing training so you can quickly become highly effective guiding AI Agents in a real production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Craft precise, effective task briefs and instructions for AI Agents across image, video, audio, and text generation
Review agent outputs for accuracy, visual consistency, style adherence, technical quality, and production readiness
Identify errors, inefficiencies, or drift in agent workflows and refine instructions/processes in real time
Translate high-level creative or technical goals from directors, VFX supervisors, and producers into clear, actionable agent tasks
Troubleshoot and optimize agent performance to keep pipelines moving smoothly on fast-paced productions
Document workflows, best practices, and lessons learned to help the team scale human-AI collaboration
Maintain meticulous attention to detail while ensuring seamless integration of agent-generated assets into larger VFX and post pipelines
Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, technical, and production teams in a hybrid human + AI studio environment
Ideal Qualifications
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Clear, confident written and verbal communication abilities
Proven ability to follow complex instructions, provide constructive feedback, and refine processes
Problem-solving mindset with a knack for spotting issues early and improving outcomes
Reliability, professionalism, and comfort thriving in fast-paced, collaborative production environments
Genuine curiosity about new technologies and eagerness to learn (this is the most important trait)
Interest in film, television, or creative production is a plus but not required
Here’s the important part: The most advanced agentic AI platforms are very new. We don’t expect you to already be an expert in these specific tools. What matters most to us is your sharp eye for detail, your communication skills, your reliability, and your genuine enthusiasm for learning.
We provide comprehensive onboarding, dedicated training time, and ongoing support from our experienced team so you can confidently direct AI Agents and deliver outstanding work on real productions. You’ll grow alongside the technology, not be left behind by it.
What We Offer
The chance to work on ambitious, high-concept projects in a state-of-the-art facility at the forefront of AI-powered production
A production model that values and protects human judgment, authorship, and oversight
Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
Hybrid schedule with primary on-site presence in Regina and flexible remote options (including dedicated home-weather days)
Comprehensive training and professional development in cutting-edge human-AI workflows
A forward-thinking, collaborative team that respects traditional skills while embracing new tools
Immediate opportunities available
How to Apply To apply, please submit your resume and a short note (no portfolio required) explaining why you would excel as an AI Task Manager — someone who brings sharp attention to detail, clear communication, and strong problem-solving skills to guiding intelligent systems.
